anyone cleared a tractor thru canada customs?

Has anyone here bought a tractor in the states and imported it into Canada? What was the customs import procedure? Did the shipper broker it thru etc?

thx Riddler, I will take you up on that if I go ahead with the buy. At this point, I'm not getting any response back from the company selling the unit.

I did one for my brother in-law last year, just had to pay the HST tax (think that's what it was called). Showed Canadian Custom the bill of sale paid the money and off I went.

lol, still no response back from the company selling the unit. Maybe they don't want the headache of a ooc sale. As far as I can gather from Canada customs website, it's not for road use so other than a bill of sale and pay the HST, I should be good to go. Anyone have a 2011 and older Kubota 30-35 horse b series with a loader backhoe and low hours that they need to find a home for?
