Anyone ever run aluminum tie rod connecting sleeves on the street?

I have seen billet aluminum tie rod sleeves advertised and was wondering if anyone uses these on the street. I had some concerns on strength and ability to withstand the stresses of running on the street.

Dunno. But they make billet wheels and they do just fine....as long as you avoid potholes

got a set last year from "american muscle", ran the $#!* out of them this year and no problems whatsoever on questionable roads at best

I had some custom made out of T-6061 aluminium & have had them on my daily driven 68 Valiant for almost 3 years with no isues whatsoever.
