Basically the title. I've got a 360 magnum that needs to go 20 over and a few other basic things. Don't have a prior relationship with any shops so don't know who I can trust to do quality work at a reasonable price. Looking for recommendations. Thanks.

Only place I know up that way would be Quinlin Automotive on Madison Ave.

I have one contact so far. A guy I went to college with is a fairly serious racer and I asked who he uses. Prices seemed high to me though (perhaps just the inflation).

Reconditioning rods=$440 plus bolts
To full float rods =$280
R&R piston if kept press fit= $280
Grind Crannkshaft=$275-300
Bore & Hone with torque plate=$575
Deck block=$250
Align hone mains =$300

What are you guys paying for these things nowadays?

Doesn't sound outrageous, although prices seem to vary from one part of the country to the other.
Just a thought- check with local construction/ag dealers (or marine dealers too, for that matter) to see who handles their machine work. There's a lot of local shops who don't really advertise much, and if you're just looking for basic machine work they could be a possibility. Generally a quicker turn around time, too. There's a lot of ag and irrigation equipment out there that used mopar smallblock and slant 6 powerplants, so it may not be new territory for them...
