You know... those used on A-bodies, not the B-body "gull-wing". I bought a repro from Dante's Auto Parts for Aaron's Christmas gift. It was supplied by First Place Auto Products.
I need to know what the final finish looks like on an original spoiler. This one has a VERY rough surface, what I would call extreme orange peel, or pitted, or stippled, or dimpled, etc. If that is what OEM looked like, that's fine (I prefer not to have to smooth and paint). Please, no "accurate reproductions", just OEM. I want to get close to the source. I'm not complaining about this one, I just want to know if there is more to finishing it before we install it.
Any close-up pics would be appreciated,
