Anyone have Layons Early-A SB Headers?

I see they offer 2 different early-a small block headers. One for original v8 cars, and one for slantsix to v8 conversions.
Anyone use either of these headers yet? Impressions?

I second that. There should be no deference at all. I have herd they are the old spitfire header design. But I have yet to see them.

Spitfire headers. Here is a pic off of Layons sight.

All I can say is the heck with that. Almost $500 for a un coted, collector less shorty header. Add what you would spend to have a shop extend them to reach your exhaust, weld on collector flanges, and have them coted and you would probably have the same or more in them then a nice set of Doug's full length coated headers.

To each there own, but that is just to steep for me.
