Anyone using milodon 31151 pan with stock steering components

I have a milodon single line swivel pickup oiling system, I have to use one of 2 pans.
The pan I'd like to run is the 7 quart 31151 pan since it is lower profiled compared to the 9 quart super stock pan.
Anyone using this particular pan in there big block a-body with stock steering & did you have to modify the k-member ?

That box pan won’t fit a stock chassis. It’s not a very good pan anyway. I’d hard pass on that.

Guess I found some luck today....a hand made replica (lol) of the 31470 pan at work
I may buy it depending on what Dr. Frankenstein did to make this or just use it as a mock up just to make some progress

Why is it not a good pan. I think those were the best pans for drag racing.
