I haven't had a chance to watch much, but I seen the US Women's Beach Volleyball Team kick some ***. They were up against the Belgians last night and the Belgians had some 6"4' 195 lb. player that was causing us some problems but we smoked 'em.

That swimmer dude (US Team) will probably tie Mark Spitz's 7 gold medal record and we got gold and silver in women's gymastics.

Looks like the US is kicking some butt!

That little Shawn Johnson from the U.S. gymnastics team.... she's absolutely adorable. She's going to be quite the looker when she get's older. 8)

But those girls from China... they all look like they're 10 and they perform like machines. Scarey stuff....

I'm avoiding the olympics like the plague

would mutch prefer to be playing with my cars

Yeah, she needs another 10 years on her, lol!

Yeah, pretty trippy to watch them. I hear they "produced" birth cetificates to prove they were 16. Hard to believe though...

I just like it because these people aren't getting huge sums of money, it's more about their love of the sport and doing thier personal best.

Have you heard how China's program works? They take 3-4 year-old children away from their families and insert them into a program that would be intense for a seasoned pro. 6 - 10 hours a day, every day, and they see their families maybe 2 weeks out of the year at most until they are too old or injured too bad to compete. Kind of shows how communists feel about their citizens. Nothing is more important than bragging rights for the country they rule. At least two of their gymnists are definitely not 16 years old. 12 MAYBE. It was China's official news agency that first reported about it. I guess someone lost their life over that story. I also found it interesting that the government made the gymnastics coaches sign a contract that they would not allow any of the athletes to get hurt in training. How do you guarantee that and what happens if one does get hurt? Execution of the coach?

She isn't just cute, she is amazing. If I am correct she is the reigning world champion. She has the kind of poise an ability to perform under pressure that no 16-year-old should have.

Were you watching because they were kicking some *** or because they were showing some ***?

Yes, Michael Phelps is a freaking machine. There is a good chance that he will not only come away with 8 gold medals but also 8 new world records. At what point do humans reach the limit of what humans can do?

That does suck. It's not the people it's the government and I hope everybody can see the difference.

No doubt. She's probably one the strongest atheletes at her age in any sport. Plus she's got that midwestern, all-american look and can-do attitude!

LOL! Misty May is a babe-o-rama at 30 something, without a doubt. I'm a sucker for brunettes but always end up with blondes for some reason. Plus I always did well at volleyball and was in track & field in high school. I got second in district in shotput, so it was all fun for me. 8)

Phelps is amazing. I hear he has the reach of someone 6'8" but is 6'4". I'm hearing rumours of undetectible steriod use but the suit they're using plus the facilities and modern training have lot to with it too. I heard that these swimming times beat Mark Spitz by something like 10 seconds? That's truly amazing.

Thank you Mike but that's nothing compared to our girls and guys who have spent their life to succeed. I got real busy trying to get laid and buzzed instead of concentrating on something productive at the time, lol!

Nitrous fed seal! That's great, I gotta remember that!

Yep. It's a world wide conspiracy predicated for the purpose of lining the pockets of corporate America.

Yeah. Makes sense to me
