Anyone work at a Dodge dealership? 2006-10 Charger R/t shift cable...

I was wondering if someone could confirm that the shift cable for park on 200x-10 Chargers was actually the same cable between the pursuit models with the column shifter and the civilian models with the console shifter. I have a suspicion that they are the same exact cable.
Does anyone have any experience with this?

go to mopar parts giant, type in info and find your part numbers. helps if you have vin, but may hinder in your case trying to find if that part fits multiples.

That's actually where the confusion comes from. It lists the same cable for "pursuit" and "r/t" but I'm not sure that the Pursuit is considered and "r/t" according to Chrysler.

It does help, I’ve been digging around that forum however mine is a 2006 which was unfortunately during the CVPI years so I have to work on 2008-2011 information. I figure an 06 is the same as an 08. The junkyard donor car cable had a part number on it. I guess I’ll go back and grab that cable.

I was thinking that as well but a car in the junkyard had a cable that was looped around and it was a bit long to go from the top of the shifter module to the park lever. I suspect that people that do this conversion are just buying a cable to be sure rather then test the waters with stuck car. I guess there’s only one way to find out though.
