They are called love bugs, I have another term for them though. They are male and female bugs attached to each other, they come out twice a year and their guts are very acidic. They will eat away the paint if you leave smashed ones on your car to long.

damn cant even kill them lol well a good pass and there u go all clean
 
I rarely have a problem with bugs, but occasionally they do show a liking for the yellow. Seems like it worse after waxing.
