Are drop in electronic ignition kits any good ?

i have the petronix ignitor II in my dart and have been running it Street/strip for about 4 years now... no issues...

Same electronics inside as the Unilites and a number of people on here run them without any issues, myself included. Easy to swap out even if it ever went bad and you don't even have to pull the dizzy. If it's going to be a daily driver and you are that worried about it then just order one up and have it in the garage. Many auto parts store are canceling out a number of the older vehicle components. I don't daily drive mine but I still have spare parts lining a few shelves in my garage.

Which one did you go with and how did it work out. I looking to go electric on my 67 273. Did you have to get a new coil?

I have been running a Pertronix setup in my superbird for 7 years now, and I love it.

Petronix now has a new version "III" that is multi spark and has a rev limiter. I would stay away from that eBay unit.
