Title pretty much says it all, I've got a set in storage with about 40% life left, I was planning on running them this summer. They're 255 60 15's, and I'd like to not to have to shell out another $400 bucks for a set.

well if you have a normal set of tires that you wear to the wear bars would you be able to groove them??

No... when they wear out they wear out...

this is why i buy normal hard *** street tires for road duty... they last 3x as long... and slicks for the track...

I've got BFG's all the way around right now, but I was hoping to use the MT's this summer, oh well guess I'll have to stick with what II've got for now.

Any tires you can regroove will say "regrooveable" on the side wall. If they don't say that don't do it.
