I love it! Does anyone know how to install the replacement rivets???

I restored my 69 tray myself and replacing the rivets is a must! With the right tool and rivets it is a breeze.

So what took do I use to attach?

The eBay store I got mine from is dissolved. The rivets are available online at Rivets Online | Buy Rivets | Jay-Cee Sales & Rivet, Inc.

They sell the dies as well and the tool is basically a large c-clamp. You can likely make your own. If you just need your shell attached to that nice looking repo send me a PM and maybe we can arrange to send it to me and I will attach your outer shell.

Here is pic of the tool I have and the semi hollow tubular rivets in varying sizes for our cars. Used this for my 69 grilles, ashtray, wiper motor, heaterbox and more.

I will be in Carlisle this year and will do all the trays anyone needs while there.

That reproduction looks pretty darn good.

$20 each rivets and labor! Assembly only!

Provide the new inner tray from Mega or whoever and your painted outer and I will assemble or will let you to do it yourself.
