Finally getting things buttoned back up after paint. Put the chrome channel for the roof rail weather stripping back up and got to looking at the long metal trim piece that goes on/under that piece....I believe it's to trap the headliner and hold it up (cardboard headliner). Do I have to put those trim pieces in before I install the weather stripping which will cover the screws up for removing it?? It looks like they're a groove on the chrome weatherstripping channel that is designed to receive the metal headliner trim....but it's damn difficult to get in there. Like they're slightly different angles....
Anyway, am I okay to permanently install the weather stripping for the roof rail before I install the metal interior roof rail trim??
