Auto meter gauge install

First Let me introduce myself. My name is Bob I live in Hilton N.Y. which is near Rochester.

Last fall I bought a 1975 Duster 360, nice car supposedly 40k original miles. I wanted to replace the original dash, so I bought a set of Auto meter Cobalt gauges from classic dashes. After installing them the only gauge that works is the tach. The other gauges light up but do not read. Any body got ideas what my problem is?

Did you hook up the sensors for them?

The sensors maybe different from the stock and may not work with the AutoMeter's

Did you install the sensors/pickups properly???

Are they mechanical gauges or electric???

The sensors are hooked up and they are the ones that came with the kit

The only other thing is the power to the gauges. Is it 12 vdc all the time?

got it all sorted out. Thanks to all who replied and tried to help. The error was mine along with lousy intructions
