I had the Auto Loc Flame Thower Kit installed in my 69 Ply roadrunner.

Installed two coil's for each exhaust pipe and connected it with the spark plug inside the exhaust like we are suppose too.

We get a flame, But its only like 8 to 12 inches outside the exhausts. What I understand is that the flame should be better than that.

Question: How can we get a longer, better intense flame from the exhaust
(Dual exhausts) We have a 383 eng, with auto trans. Help is very appreciated. Thanks

i know some guys put little nozzles for propane to aid in making huge flames

Depends on how your system is setup. On my friends system when he hits the button it cuts out the motor ignition, so he will rev the motor up and hit the button at the same time he'll floor the gas. It takes some practice but he can shoot them about 5ft.

The H.A.M.B. on JalopyJournal.com is a good place to look for flame thrower advice.

While we're talking about flame throwers and afterburners, this guy has both.

LMAO! I dig that thing. I think Hot Rod magazine may have done an article on that car 3 or 4 years ago. I wonder if he's really used that on the road or track though? 8)

I think this guy is using propane:
