I know some of you guys are working on your cars so here is my review of some 3m sanding products.

I am specifically talking about the product line in the link below.

http://3mcollision.com/products/abrasives/high-performance-abrasives

I have been using this stuff everyday for 2 months. It is 100% pure garbage. It dulls incredibly quickly.

In fact, it's a huge time killer because you spend more time replacing the paper than you do sanding.

Save your money, buy anything other than this product.

We are switching to http://www.sunmightusa.com/ (not sure about the exact line). I will let you know how this stuff works out.

Oh, and I'm not just bashing 3M, they make some fine products, but this specific line isn't one of them.

I've used quite a bit of carborundum. 3M is too expensive on a lot of things.

Ive used, Kemplerly, Norton and TCP's house brand with no issues.

Indasa and Mirka are my favorites for metalwork. Check out this place: http://pivco.net Great prices, wonderful customer service, fast shipping and great quality. You can get any size / format you need from them.
