That was a 20th century 60's thing to alter the wheelbase, many done it both Mopar and Ford Fairlanes

When I saw your post I first thought you were talking bout AWD ( all wheel drive ) which fascinates me and if I remember correctly this is the 21st century
 
what you ment to say was AWB or Altered Wheel Base...

The early altered WB cars were what coined the term "funny car."

Both of those cars belong to Steve Magnante. He's a very knowledgeable automotive writer and the one commentator who knows his **** on Barrett Jackson.
