I posted this on my local craigslist so I can try to make a few $$$ and figured I would post it on here aswell.... as some of you may know,the last few months have been rough financially for my family and we have a baby on the way and one little one already.....we just in the last few weeks have moved to a less expensive home to try to get a better handle on bills......and we are still trying to catch up on things.....and my sons birthday is next week and im trying to pull some cash together to do something for him......so I am putting this up for sale.
I have an AWESOME nitro R/C truck for sale or trade.
here is some info on it...
Its a RedCat Racing Tsunami ULTRAWIDE (2" wider than standard tsunami version).some features: 75cc leak proof fuel tank with overflow pipe,spring loaded cover for quick refueling,front and rear leak proof differentials,13.8g light weight aluminum flywheel,adjustable oil filled shock absorbers,disc brakes with replaceable pads,TRUE 4 wheel drive (just like a real vehicle),FULLY tunable controller,2 speed transmission,long range radio control,4 corner independent suspension with full adjustability (caster ,camber ,toe,ride height, shock firmness, ect...)replaceable radio wave chip incase you are into track racing and find yourself in the situation that there are other hobbiests on the same wave length that may cause interference with your nitro rc).
Original sale price on the truck was $272.55 (not including tax or anything).
has LOTS and LOTS of upgrades....was built for serious durability and fun.
including: Fully adjustable oil filled blue anodized aluminum shocks ($20.00 per pair....2 pair on vehicle aswell as 1 spare pair ....total of $60.00)
engine was replaced by previous owner with one that was professionally built and tuned with a few internal performance upgrades and the price was about $95.00.....
new glow plug about $7.00
HD axles about $5.00 per pair x2 =$10.00
HD dog bone shafts front and rear ($7.00 a pair,total of $14.00)
purple anodized aluminum rear axle shaft hubs (pair was $30.00) plus new bearings.
Rechargeable glow plug igniter with built in power meter AND charger were about $30.00
tuned aluminum exhaust pipe $30.00
blue anodized aluminum turnbuckle shafts ($20.00 per pair,x3 pairs =$60.00)
blue anodized aluminum lower front and rear arms ($30.00 per pair,x2 = $60.00)
HD front and rear ring and pinion gear sets $20.00
blue anodized full aluminum chassis undercarriage plate $20.00
aluminum motor mount $15.00
chrome wheels with wide profile studded tires about $20.00
black faced wheels with bead lock rings and aggressive tread tires about $30.00
extra body plastic about $15.00
which all together without tax or anything was around $516.00!!!! thats just in the upgrades alone!!!
I ALSO will be including almost 3 full gallons of fuel (30,25 and 20 octane) at around $45.00 a gallon (x3 is $135.00 worth of fuel) (sorry guys but unless your local I can't include the fuel on the deal since it can not be shipped due to being flammable)
add the original price of the vehicle itself along with the cost of the fuel to the list of upgrades and the grand total of money invested is around $923.55!!!!!! (minus the $135.00 since the fuel is not included.....the grand total is $788.55)
also included is the original box,manuals,some paperwork,some extra parts such as brake pads,axles,spare shocks,screws and so on,some maintenance supplies (such as 4 way wrench,couple tools,engine lube),plus stickers and a few other odds and ends.
Works great!,fun to play with,built like a tank ...so even someone new to nitro r/c's could use it without the worry of smashing it into pieces if they get a little out of control,VERY FAST!!! will do around 50mph+,4x4 works great (which also makes it a great all season toy because if you really wanted to...you could break it out in the winter and do a little 4 wheeling in the snow). or you could unhook the front driveshafts and have fun doing burnouts with it if thats what your into.
sorry for the big long post on everything but I wanted to try to explain it as best as I could for those that may be interested in it.
I am not trying to sell it for the amount that is invested into everything but I do not want to sell it dirt cheap either.
That said id like to get about $500.00 or BEST OFFERr on it including shipping to the lower 48.....I am willing to negotiate though if your seriously interested and have cash! ....so please don't be afraid to make a reasonable offer on it.
As far as trades go.....may be interested in a NICE laptop computer but could really use the cash right now more so.
