Axle flip help ...please

-
Axle flip will lower it 6". I built my rear springs to set the height right where I wanted it and it has 4.5" clearance between the frame and axle.

You have to weld on new perches so just set the angle where it needs to be for your truck. I go 2*-3* down. Most Mopars were 2* down from the factory.

what housing did you use? a truck oe or 1 from a donor vehicle Mark

This one still under construction. Spring plates left in place temporarily to aid in alignment of stuff. NO it's not going to be one of those sqating trucks.

Great pictures ,thank you very much just what I needed to see. :thankyou:

I used A-body rear axle on the 76 I had. Used new spring axle mounts. Drop the rear 6"

Here is what I used, and it worked perfectly for my 8 3/4 in my 64 D100. Diff is a 68 not tapered axle. I did have to c-notch.
