Is there a difference in axle U-bolts? I understand that the material that the bolt is made from would make a difference, but other than that? I found some on Ebay that are listed for trailers would these work? The length and diameter is correct, and the price seems right, but I just don't want any problems.... Here's the listing of the item on Ebay. eBay item number: 291322798673 And they are only $14.95 shipped....
Thanks,
Chris

You can get the U bolts at Autozone. As far as getting the truly correct ones, I don't know, maybe Mancini or Dr Diff.

The true replacement U bolts will be flattened along the bend where it goes over the tube.

You want a good grade 8 I do believe.

Mancini has OE type U bolts that have a flat area that presses against the tubes so they don't crush them and machined X groves on the flat to lock on to it. Had to have them because I had a little crushing going on and didn't want it to get any worse. Gonna have to pay them like $14 shipping though. Still kinda sore about that.
