I would not have the stomach to build a beautiful aircraft like that, then chance to fly it.

Fusing with fire
I built a beautiful f-82 large scale, spent months building her. Detailed it all the way down to the rivets. Counter rotating props the whole 9 yards. I flew her in a demo at the lake Tahoe air show along with a rotor wing demo. That was the most beautiful aircraft I've ever built. She flew so clean and true it was amazing.
After the air show I took her out to the field for a fun fly and dam of she didn't fly just as good. She was flying so well I decided to pull a high G loop.
Well turns out in high wing loading the elevator bound up and she did a figure 9 into the deck right in front of me at the flight line.
She went home in trash bags on the 3rd flight......
