Other than the jack hook, are 67b-body and 69 a-body physically the same?

I suspect that the bases may be different. I've had and bought some jacks and the poles don't mate with the base.... :banghead:

The jack post for a 68' charger is a tee post and the 69' a body is the tubular type post

jacks have always been an interesting part of the " putting the car together" puzzle to me. its great when you buy a car or project and there is the correct jack in the trunk, BUT most times that's not the case! LOL
the old car would wind up in the salvage yard, and the owner would take the jack out first! keep it for what!???? or the car would wind up in the bone yard with its jack, and people would borrow it out of its trunk to use to jack up some darn chevy!!?? not to be returned....
the jack hook is different for every bumper of every model. those are what can be hard to find. the jack part is way more common. and using the wrong hook on the wrong bumper can be dangerous no doubt!
