Putting In A B&m Quicksilver Shifter, It Looks Like They Want Me To Run The Cable Strait Out Into Engine Compartment Then Lop Toward Tranny. I Have A Center Console So I Guess It Would Go Uder The Carpet And Out? How Long Of A Cable Do I Need, Anybody Else Have A B&m And What Did You Do. Still Need To Order The Cable And Would Like To Get It Right The First Time.

Yes you have to go out and loop it around. That is what I did, you can even get a longer cable so you have less kink in it..

longer than what, i have a 74 duster, will a 5' cable work

I'm using a 4 foot in mine. Just make sure that when you loop it back to the tranny stay away from the exhaust pipes for obvious reasons.

Hold it, mine's going to a 727 tranny what are you using. Shouldn't matter but you never know.
