b/rb con rod question

Do the b and rb rods interchange easily? seems like they would bolt right in place of one another. All pressed pin,bearing sizes all the same. Only diff is the rb rod is .41 or 2/5 longer than the b rod.

Would swapping rb rods into a stock 400 work? Or would the pistons crash into the valves/head? Just a quick thought on a cheap and dirt compression boost for a 400.

I think it would hit the head because the low compression comes from a dish in the piston, not how low the piston is in the cylinder.

I know the small block pistons are waaay down,.060 to .080 or more but no clue on the 400.
