Back light color on new gauges

I’m installing old school mechanical Sun Pro gauges in a 1968 Barracuda. I like the white faceplate color, but the night lighting is also white and pretty bright. Has anyone found a coating, or available colors for a GE 98 style bulb that might match the original dash light color in my car?

I used a blue marks-alot. You might wanna try a green one. Apply as often as necessary.

Hobby and craft stores carry glass paint, used in stained glass... Works on bulbs, too.
Some fingernail polishes work well, also- just stay away from the highly opaque shades.

If you still have a local Pep Boys, they have a silicon sleeve/cap to go over bulbs in the "custom" section. Where isle that used to have all the APC stuff

Super Bright has retrofit leds in various colors and bulb sizes . I used green in my Demon.
