Have a 74 dart. When I put it in gear it vibrates badly but when I start driving the vibration pretty much disappears. Anybody have any ideas on what could cause this?

Vibration could be from bad engine/trans mounts.
Is the engine running smooth without any misfiring? A misfire at idle could be perceived as a vibration and smooth out while driving.
