I'm not a body guy, but I have put on qtrs., floors and welded. Mudwork, prep and paint illudes me! so here's the 65 the school kids an myself are into - - and the 2 issues.

1) The RR qtr took a hit. we'll replace the bumper and lid...but now the tail panel and qtr. are kinked. We don't have a wayt to pull them... We are leaving the "patina" so rough body work is good enough.

I'd like to replace the tail panel and trunk lip from just right of the lock to the tail light. Anyone have a 65 they can cut this piece from? also....maybe all around the right tail light housing section. we can cut a piece it to fit Its SO kinked, no hope of really straightening it.

2) how would you repair above the pass. door striker? anyone have a section to fit this cut from a car?

- - I don't know..is the valiant the same in these areas?

Quarter panel and door jamb will be the same for Barracuda and Valiant. Quarter panel: '64-'65. Door jamb: '64-'66 Barracuda, Valiant, Dart. Tail panel and trunk lip can be scavenged from '64-'66 Barracuda. That particular section MIGHT be sourced from a Valiant? Don't know for sure though.

nah. too much distortion, twisting and kinking.....easier to cut out. I should really get the entire corner too. so far, no luck finding one......

where are you in eastern PA? a battery operated sawzall would do the trick! let me know.

I have a tail panel and I think a quarter patch already cut.
I just scraped a jamb. Figures someone would need it a week later.

Hi fellas. thanks....but now I'm set with the rear panel cuts. I've got a little more looking to see about the door jamb area..... so that's a TBD. I'lll figure it out this week.
