The ‘67 has been back from the body shop for some time as I have been putting the rest of the stuff back on it. F’N gremlins have been driving me nuts, so I finally broke down and took it to an “old car mechanic.” He worked his magic, so I got it registered, got it inspected and got driving!
Made it 12 miles and it died. I had put about 3 gals of gas in before trailering it to the mechanic… but I failed to consider the gas gauge and the fuel pickup might not agree. D’OH!
Best looking car on the side of the road! Got it home, put gas in, got it started again.
