Whats' the simple way to remove the barracuda rear floor (deck)? I need to remove the filler tube. thanks....
Mike

Assume 67-9 fastback - you could try to remove the rear hatch and the bolts that fasten the rear sub floor to the floor, After doing that you may be able to wedge the sub floor up to give you space to remove the filler tube. Otherwise you'll need to remove the rear seat back 4 bolts and the remaining attaching sub floor screws/bolts and slide it away. worse case you'll need to remove the side panels in the cargo area.

looks like the 1st gen's flooring appear to be exactly like the 2nd gens. So what I said should still hold.

Remove the divider and the rearseat. You will need to remove the DS rear panel too. Remove the chrome trim around the subfloor and remove the bolts on the front and rear of the subfloor and pull out.

I know you need to remove the side panel and the tank, but you may not need to remove the floor to remove the filler.
