My son has a 1970 Dodge Dart Swinger 340. When I shut the hood on it the DODGE emblem in the center of the hood came off. I was told that this emblem was held on by barrell clips ? Is this right ? And if so, does anyone know where I could find some ? The back side of the emblem has pretty short studs on them, just wondering if they are supposed to be that way or maybe they broke off ? Thanks in advance for any assistance given, Ron

Go to a body shop , take emblem with you , any older shop should stock em .Although not used much now.

I have these that, not sure what size you need
NO BARREL CLIPS!!! this emblem was held on by PAL nuts (hollow nuts that cut their own threads) originally and all the posts are easily accessible from the underside of the hood. Considering where it is and the repeated shock of closing the hood, there really is no other effective way to fasten it.
