I picked up a Belvedere II found a source 440 to build and got to work collecting parts to build the motor to put in the car. Looks like I might have to move to Hawaii for 3 years and wont have time to get this car done. Considering selling the drive train and putting the roller car into storage...

1977 440 and 727 Trans out of a New Yorker (7-1-1977)
Pad 8T440 E 1-12
Weiand 8009 intake with EDL 750 with electric choke
Stock 452 Heads, 3 angle valve job, stock 1.5 rockers
Polished cast crank
New .040 Speed Pro Flat tops with new rings, stock rods
fresh machine work with new freeze plugs
Stock water pump
Stock pan with new pick up and melling HV oil pump with windage tray
All new electronics and starter
MP Purpleshaft cam http://www.summitracing.com/parts/dcc-5007698
All new bearings and seals
Freshened trans with 2600 stall new converter

Cleaned the snot out of this sucker after rebuild and painted it a cast gray color

What brand of headers are those, size, ect.?
 
I will try to find the header info for you. I am not sure as they are not mine but just used for the run stand at my buddies shop. I am not sure how the thread got here, maybe because I put the motor up for sale? I built it with the intentions of moving on to my Belvedere project. Army had a different idea on me being stable so I put it up for sale. A guy is supposed to come this week to put money in my hand. If he doesn't it goes in the 67. Trying real hard to get my 72 on the road!
