I am relocating the battery and took some pictures during the process of crimping the battery ends. I purchased a hydraulic crimping tool from Amazon.
Using 1/0 battery cable ,Beldon cable from Napa . Very nice stuff
I picked up a cable cutter from Lowes they are rated up to 4/0 and slice the 1/0 like butter , and used a hose cutter to strip the insulation.

Great job and even nicer heat gun! (I am a Mac dealer) LOL

Where do you get your adhesive lined shrink tube?

Thanks guys !!
toolmanmike , Love the Mac tools, these china tools like this crimper are OK for occasional use .
jos51700- I had a Napa electrical catalog handy so I grabbed all the cable, ends and shrink tube from them. Napa numbers for the Shrink tubing are 727690 and 727693 (Red and Black)
The shrink works on the 1/0 cable and also worked fine on 4 gauge.
I am using 4 gauge from a 150 amp circuit breaker near the battery up to a Safety Hub to keep everything fused, it also has a ground buss on it.
Here is a shot of the safetyHub with the 4 gauge cable, I used the crimper on the copper lug also .

That's a really handy tool to have. I see it come with several sizes of dies. Do you remember what you had to pay for it? (I can't see the brand)
