I have been using a lot of used batteries that the local parts shop tells me are still good. I get about one good start out of the battery and then disconnect it. Next time I try to turn the car over, nothing. I have already replaced the starter, so I am pretty sure that isn't the issue. I started using a marine battery in hopes that the deeper stroke would work better. It did for a while, but now I think it is time for a new battery. Can someone give me some suggestions on what size/type I should go with? The car is a '64 Barracuda fastback w/ a 318 motor. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
