I've got many big block rockers but do not know how to tell standard duty from heavy duty. Can you give me some tip on how to tell? Thickness differences, stamping differences, etc. Thanks.

was the heavy duty stamped steel units p4529743 thicker in the pushrod cup area and stamped L and R ?

I have found some threads that members have mic'd the thickness and found the heavy duty's to be thicker all around. The mopar performance rockers are currently advertised to be thicker in the pushrod cup area. MP has from what im finding out, discontinued the HD rocker arms and do not show them in the catalog. I have found some MP rocker arms at Jegs and should be getting them by the end of the week. I have 1 MP rocker arm in my parts stash that appears to be a few thousandth's thicker and has a beefier appearance in the pushrod area only, otherwise it is identical to my failed units. Myself Im not sure I have ever seen a thicker HD or thinner rocker arm. I think old originals are better quality then what you can buy today.

I have a BB set at home I ordered from DC in the 80's that I replaced with adjustables. I'm a machinist so I'll bring a pair to work tomorrow and get some measurements for comparison.

Ok,
Dug em Out and they are Not stamped Left and Right and the stamping in general has a .140 wall, the cup and valve tip area both measure a .105 wall.
