Bearing retainer ring

I'm using a Lakewood scatter shield and the opening where bearing retainer goes is a bit larger than the bearing retainer how do I solve this problem c94796 is numbers on bearing retainer

how much is a "bit"? the lakewood's should come with different sized rings that fit over the bearing retainer so the bell fits snug..

i know my quicktime bell came with 2 different rings.

I bought my Lakewood bell from a guy on Craigslist at the time I didn't know it needed those rings but he didn't tell me anything about it I'd say maybe 1/4 inch gap between bell and retainer don't quote me on that but ill have to double check

Just so happens I have one of those rings. They are commonly missing when you buy a used bellhousing. I'm sure you can still get them from Lakewood.
