bell housing Id number location ?

where is the bell housing id number stamped on a 4 speed 65 barracuda formula "S" . how do I tell if its a 9.5 or 10.5 clutch ? Thanks !

Can;t help you out on where the number is but believe early A V8's and 4 speed slants used the 9.5 in clutch. Some slants used the 9.25 in clutch. Brewers has a 10 inch clutch and pressure plate with special hardware that fits the early A flywheels.

I went to brewers website and it says the numbers are stamped on the rear of bell where the trans mounts up. What I did look at is mine has the correct z-bar, bell ball bracket , soooo I'm assuming it's the correct bell housing with the 9.5 clutch assembly.
