I went to junkyard found this bellhousing behind the slant6 in the 1973 truck. Is it dual bellhousing for 3speed A230 and 4speed A833?

It sure looks like it, but I'm not an expert on bellhousings by any means.
Otherwise, why would there be a larger bolt pattern than that trans?

any other idea? is this worth save it?

How come it looks like the starter is mounted in a v8 location? Ive never owned a /6 but ive looked at a couple and i thought the starter mounted up higher near the block in that big notch?

Can I use this bellhousing in A-body or it will fit D100 truck only?

Truck only, it has a duel pattern for A230 and NP435.
Most likely it is a big heavy cast iron that runs a 11" flywheel.
My 71 D100 had the same bellhousing.

If it will fit the np435 to a slant I'd like it. I'd have to find people willing to bring it this way, probably in steps, because shipping would be high. I want to put a np435 in my d200 behind the slant.

Look at the last picture, there is no question it fits a NP435.
Two upper holes close to each other is where the NP435 bolts too.
Grab the flywheel and all the clutch linkage if you pull it out.
