My front bench seat is getting to the end of its life. Broken, rusty springs, and the foam is wearing out. So, with that in mind, I'm thinking about swapping in another bench seat and just having it upholstered to look the same as my current one. Does anyone have any experience or thoughts?
Car is a 64 Dart. Ideally I'd get something that adds headrests (whiplash is no joke) and a center armrest/cupholder. I'm sure if I find something late model it'd have heated/cooled seats which would be a plus but not a necessity. I'd like the same overall look, very square.

I need to get some measurements but I'm thinking about the rear seat from a fiat 500L. The driver's side portion has an independent front-back adjustment and tilt, a folding center armrest, and the center and passenger side seats do front-back and tilt together. It also has headrests that can go down very close to flat.
It sits on a fairly high hump, so it would require some fabrication to mount into the low floor pan of the dart.

Just get a good used a body bench seat. The last two I bought were $100 each.
