Hi everyone I am just trying to get the navigation in here. Kind of confused. I am the very proud owner of a 1966 Dodge Dart 270. I purchased it when I turned 16 back in 1985, yep many years ago. I call him Darwin I know weird but Darwin the dart stuck! We were stoned ok! When I bought "the dar" he had 26,000 orig. miles. I am the second owner, my first car, and respected by many who have sold their first love. Long story short I have access to a 1977ish volare and I need disck brakes in the front. Can I use anything off of the Volare?

Welcome to FABO. Seeing that the Dodge Aspen and Plymouth Volare are F bodies, it would be hard to say what would interchange as far as brake parts are concerned, I do know the front suspension on the F bodies are radically different from the A Bodies.

Hey thank you for the reply in a quick way I might add! I am a member on the 1st gen Durango forum and I usually figure it out before I get replies. I did do some research and about the only thing that will work is the master cylinder from what I saw in the chat. I have two sets of American Racing slots that have taken years to find, they are the 5 on 4, 14 inch so I am looking into other routes.

there was an add on Ny cl that had a disc brake setup for $250.00. had upper control arms, rotors , calippersand spindles. deal of the day.

Hey Bigus1949, is that add still around? Disc brakes on my Dart would be the best thing to happen to him in the last 30 years. That and I am driving him again. I can do 250.00 right now. I would sure appreciate a source that could make this possible. Thank you for any information!
