Bent Antenna?

I'm putting back together my 64 dart and have always noticed that the antenna looks bent at a slight angle at the base. Just wondering if this is correct or if I should try bending it back. I'm a little worried about doing more damage trying to bend it back.

If any one has experience with this your help would be appreciated!

just try to use that angle towards the windshield -- for a swept look-- if you try & bend it it will break & then you will need new, Lawrence

follow his advise, never had much luck with a sliding or power sliding antenna and bending it
