Hey guys,
I have sanded and buffed my aluminum radiator. It looks nice, slick and shiny but it does have a light haze on it, and I can't seem to get it out. I went from heavy to light on the compound and finally with Mothers aluminum polish. What do you guys think I could try?

go to a bike shop and get some autosol polish. I use mothers polish on my rad, but first use autosol and a LOT of hand polishing!!

It may be that it has a coating on it and that is what is discoloring/hazing. I doubt it would be anodize but a urethane clear or something more likely. Clean aluminum will polish out.

I like semi chrome

Out of all the stuff I have used it works the best for me.

Get it at motorcycle shop

I was watching a show the other day and a guy was polishing an air stream. He used a micro fiber cloth with dry baking soda to lift the haze left behind by the compound he used. I have never tried this but that air stream sure looked good.

He just poured the baking soda on the micro fiber.

Used Wenol polish and a little elbow crease on my polished MP valve covers. Were oxidized a little, but now look like a mirror.
