Best engine oil for 1963 225 slant six all year round?

So just want to know whats the best working engine oil for 225 slant six? any specific numbers?

Mine is a 63 valiant 225.

15w40 rotella is a good option. If oil pressure is high with 10w30 thats what id run. Id run a oil with a high zinc and phosphorus ppm, i know a lot of guys don't believe in that but i think it makes a difference. Lucas makes a 10w30 specifically for older engines

Good chart.

A 10w oil is good clear down to zero, and if it's a good synthetic it's cloud point will probably let it go a bit colder.
