Best floor shiftier to use with a bench seat

I was wondering what is the best floor shiftier to use in a 71 Demon with a bench set
I will be relocating the seat an inch back
And if possible a template to cut the floor\

Hurst Super shifter with 9" stick, just comes to the top of the bench...if it's a 4-speed you are talking about. 14" also works well.
