best gears option

in my b body belvedere with 225 slant six , i got the sock automatic tranny.
but will install later dodge diplomat lock up with high stall torque next year( need to machine the end of my crank to fit it) so now running a 2.94 diff wondering what the best over all option is , the 3,73 or 3.55 . what you think is best .
i have a twin carb set up from clifford d performance . so around 250 hp
what is your car running at and what rpm at 70 mph

What size rear tire you running? Stock is ~25 inches so:

3.73 gear would be 3700 at 70 mph
3.55 gear would be 3529 at 70 mph
3.21 gear would be 3190 at 70 mph
2.94 gear would be 2920 at 70 mph

I am a running the 3.21 set up in a lighter car (72 dart). I ran 3.55s with a slant in my 65 Barracuda and liked it fine with ~27" tire. (3200 at 70)
