Best motor mounts?

Who makes the best sandwich type mounts for my 66 Dart 318 conversion? I have the brackets. I've been reading old posts and it seems theres a lot of bad quality stock replacements out there? What are you're experiences with them?

I think Schumacher makes a good sandwich type mount with an intergral series of lapping steel plates. They`re not cheap though about 150.00 a pair, I believe.

Are there any more economical units?

There`s the solid steel mounts but they transfer vibration throughout the car. It`s a pretty horrible effect in a street car. A lot of the mounts now are made in India and although the quality is not great, unless you`re racing you should be okay with a stock replacement.

Yes they are the best a few $$ on the pricesy side but very good! I would stay away from polly trans mounts a lot of vibration but they are very strong if you need them..

I met with the schumacher people at the mopar nats, their interlocking mounts wont work on a 66, 67 and newer only. Sucks - I would like a set too.
