Ok guys (and gals?), im getting ready to clean the underside of my 64. I know alot of you have did this, just wandering what everyones using for protecting the underbody. Ive also cleaned up the floors in the car, whats the best stuff to lay down on top of it, just a primer? i have some surface rust on my floor pans (not alot for this year car), is por-15 the stuff to hit this surface rust with? Thanks

i covered the whole inside and under side with truck bedliner. sealed and sound deadening in one shot

I had both underside and floor sandblasted and then epoxy primed it. Will do a spray on coating eventually. This is probably the most expensive but I know the rust will never come through the paint. I paid $200 for the blasting and about $90 for a gallon of epoxy primer (EP789) which I sprayed.

Thanks guys. Got to work on my64 today. Got all the goo off the front wheel wells and started on the rear. Ill still have to go back and clean them up abit, but i got most of the big stuff off.
