Bet's Anyone?

LOL...glad to hear you had a safe and fun time! I am sure once you knock some rust off you will be closing the deal with the ladies! If you ever need a ride home leet me know...

I have a table at home and still slap them around occasionally but my competitive days are done, 25 years in leagues, hundreds of tournaments, played the BCA in Vegas a few times, that was a hoot :-D Your cue would look good on my wall with the others but you'll have to autograph it "MeMike" if I get it :-D I opened your bidding, I hope it goes well for you

Congratulations Rob!! That sure would be a Hoot.
You have had some great times in your life Rob.
I would hate to disgrace this nice vintage cue, by autographing it.
But that would be up to you. I could put a small card on it with some small soft string with a note to ya.:salute:
Thanks Rob, With your time around the table you have used one of these
signature Earl Stricland models I bet.:-D

Thanks again Rob.

I've tried pretty much every type of cue at one time or another Mike, I have used a Cuetec but probably not the Strickland autograph. Have you ever tried a Predator with the 314 shaft? It's a lazer cut and spliced shaft made up of 10 pie shaped lengths for increased stiffness and less deflection, if you cut a ring out of it and looked at it, it would resemble a pie that has been sliced into pieces :-D I have a limited edition one #69 out of 750 :downtown:

I have shot with one but never owned one.
Yours sound like a thousand dollar cue, if I am right. Niiiice.:-D

Yeah you're right, and then some, the Canadian dollar was very weak back then so it ended up being about $1200 if I recall. It is a very nice cue though, I'll put up a pic some time.

Yep !! it is a 19 oz.

Nice cue Mike! If I wasn't in my present predicament I'd bid on it for sure. Cuetec cues start at 96+ bucks plus shipping and go up from there.

If I could, I would send it to you to get you on track again, Or just get
your mind on something you can enjoy again bud.8)
We are going through a few thing and getting ready for a few days away.
Thanks for your time today, I have enjoyed it.

Sorry to jump in on your thread.:happy10:

Not to worry Mike. I'll be fine, I always am. It's just one more roadblock on the highway of life.

BTW, feel free to jump in my threads anytime bro!

Soooo cool to find out two of my favorite customers like to swing a stick too! I've got a CueTech black graphite 22 oz.er that I use solely to break, and my McDermott Tournament Champions limited edition (only 1000 made) I won in the early 90s as my shooting stick. I don't have any pics but can take some if ya'll really wanna see them.

Rob, I'll bet we were at a few of the same tournaments over the years. I played in little bar leagues for a couple years, a few more years with the BCA, and most recently with the WPBA. (Had three appearances on ESPN ... God I miss those days!) If there were more places around here to play, I'd still do it.
