Better sound

Hi Everyone,

I just brought home a 71 Scamp with a 1000 mile fresh rebuild on a 225.

Juat wondering if anyone had any ideas on what muffler/resonator would make it sound better.

The engine is fresh so not really planning a engine swap as yet, but maybe a header and some kind on muffler.

Anyone have any ideas?

My wife bought a slant 6 Swinger a couple of weeks ago. The car came with the exhaust spilt at the transmission cross member and flows into two glasspack mufflers in the stock location and then duals to the rear bumper. The little booger actually sounds pretty cool. I've never liked the sound of sixes with anything louder than stock exhaust before but this one I really like. My dad always talked about the 50s six engines with dual exhaust sounding great and I doubted it until now.
