[WANTED] BHJ lifter bore bar-small block

Long shot…Want to rent, or buy then re-sell if I have to. Needing to bush my lifter bores in a 360 LA block. Let me know if you got one. Machine shop doesn’t have one for the SBM. Alternative is full price and 4 weeks from BHJ.

That's not something your likely to borrow, and even if you did, it's not something you should be trying to do by hand. You will also need a sunnen lifter bore hone to finish to the correct size, as well as a small hole dial bore gauge. Best bet is to just send the block to a competent shop and have it done.

Agreed, machinist worked in a shop that did a lot of Mopars, and broke off on his own. Hasn’t had a SBM looking to go racing yet, so has the base fixture and Chevy, Ford, and BBM bars…just no SBM. Not trying to do this myself

If he has the base kit, the peices to do the mopar aren't toooo bad, he just needs the "step up kit"
