I have a 74 Duster that I want to drop a 440 into. I have a line on a motor and tranny. I need to know what a good price for a used 440 and trans would be. I'm new at this and have no idea.

It will depends on weather it runs or was just rebuilt, plus the year, is the trans ok. Around my area you could pay $600-$1000 for a good used motor and transmission.
